Actually, there is no fixed minimum charge. After we have toured your home, have agreed on the price and have our financial arrangement settled, work will begin on schedule. Your initial payment will cover consultation, move in, staging and decoration plus move out costs, and can sometimes be deferred until closing. In cases where closing may be significantly delayed, additional but previously agreed-to charges would accrue, and all payments become due and payable in advance. Simple, affordable, and worry free.
Do you rent the furniture or other pieces you will be using from others?
Almost never. My inventory is extensive, local and insured. In some cases, if a specific piece of art or some other furnishing would make a huge difference, I have inexpensive resources that are readily available. There would be no difference in your cost should that ever need to happen, and we would of course discuss it thoroughly first anyway.
Can you just use my existing furniture and accessories to do this?
If they work well within the overall design and it's what you want, yes of course. The art, rugs, furniture and accessories that I will use would be specifically selected to showcase your home in the best possible light based on the style of your home, current market conditions and the buyers you are going to attract. What can you do to improve the outdoor appearance of my home?
Curb appeal is very important to prospective buyers. I can and will provide you with attractive and appropriate outdoor furnishings and any necessary accessories required to improve the exterior appearance of your home. I will not, however, do your gardening, your yard work, house painting or other similar exterior home improvements that are your responsibility.
